Steps to delete data
Follow these steps on your Android device to delete local NamazWaqt data:
- Open Settings → Apps → NamazWaqt (or Apps & notifications → See all apps → NamazWaqt).
- Open Storage or Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage or Clear data and confirm. This removes locally saved settings and content listed below from your device.
- Alternatively, uninstall NamazWaqt. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data from that device.
To request help with deletion or to ask a privacy question, email maliknoumanarshad@gmail.com and include “NamazWaqt data deletion” and your app package name (com.namazwaqt.com) in the message.
What is deleted when you clear storage or uninstall
Clearing storage or uninstalling removes locally stored app data on your device, including examples such as:
- Cached or saved location used for prayer times and Qibla
- Prayer settings (calculation method, offsets, madhab, notification preferences)
- Quran bookmarks and last-read position
- Tasbih counters and related preferences
- Local “ad-free for today” reward timestamp from rewarded ads
- Other preferences held in app storage on the device
Sensor readings used for the Qibla compass are not retained as a profile by the app in the way described in our privacy policy.
What NamazWaqt does not store on our servers
NamazWaqt does not require sign-in and does not maintain your personal prayer profile on developer-operated servers for this app. Deleting data on your device addresses locally stored information tied to the app.
Third-party services and retention
Google AdMob may process advertising-related data (such as device or advertising identifiers and diagnostics) according to Google’s policies. That processing is governed by Google; it is not something NamazWaqt stores as a simple “account record” for you to delete on our side. You can review Google’s privacy materials and use Android and Google ad settings (including resetting your advertising ID where available) as described in our Privacy Policy.
Network requests the app may make (for example, reverse geocoding or magnetic declination helpers) are used to support features and are not described here as a separate long-term “profile” stored by NamazWaqt on a backend.
